The Geeks & Creatives of wisnet proud to keep biking visible in Fond du Lac.

The League of American Bicyclists recognized wisnet.com, LLC as a Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) award, joining more than 1,300 visionary businesses from across the country.

With the announcement of 59 new and renewing BFBs today, wisnet joins a cutting-edge group of 1,315 local businesses, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies in 49 states and Washington, D.C., that are transforming the American workplace.

“The business community’s investment in bicycling is playing a central role in making the country a safer, happier, and more sustainable place to live and work,” said Amelia Neptune, Director of the Bicycle Friendly America program. “We applaud this new round of businesses, including wisnet, for leading the charge in creating a bicycle-friendly America for everyone.”

By having a bike purchase incentive programs, clean up days for the FDL Loop bike and walking path, and hosting team rides throughout the year, wisnet encourages bicycling as an easy option for transportation and recreation.

We are thrilled to have been selected as a Bicycle Friendly Business.

Fitness programs are critical for the well-being (both mind and body) for our team.  Biking is one of those activities that can be done at all stages of our lives, and it also provides benefits beyond the obvious cardio and strength exercise. Solo rides are an awesome time for mindfulness, controlling breathing, finding yourself, and developing new ideas.   Group rides provide powerful relationship-building conversations  (friends, coworkers, and family). Both rides provide energy and productivity for our team that is hard to replicate.

We encourage businesses to explore bike friendly elements to help make Fond du Lac a welcoming bike friendly community for families, employees, and customers.

The Geeks & Creatives of wisnet are proud to be part of the Fond du Lac biking community, promoting the activity, and building more bike safety awareness. We hope to see you out on the Fond du Lac Loop (the actual trail – not the website). (but visit the website too)  (:

Moving forward, wisnet will have access to a variety of tools and technical assistance from the League to become even more bicycle-friendly. When our team members bike, great things happen: We build the bonds and family of wisnet to develop a fun and exciting culture, reduce our carbon footprint, and feel more energized which leads to a more overall healthy lifestyle.
