COVID-19 Web Grant Program

Due to the interest & success of supporting small businesses in our community with our Order-Out e-commerce sites, wisnet is announcing our first ever grant program for any business/organization in Wisconsin.

This offering is aimed at helping small businesses around the state respond to and recover from the effects of the COVID-19 health emergency with a $2,500 services grant. The grant can be applied to wisnet services to cover or offset the cost of designing, building and hosting an e-commerce website that can help businesses safely serve their customers by offering online ordering with curbside pickup, delivery, and/or shipped product(s).

While details of the grant requirements are being finalized, here are some initial specifics:

  • The service grant in the amount of $2,500 will be available for small businesses with 20 or fewer FTEs impacted by COVID-19 and can only be applied to wisnet services.
  • There currently is no limit* to the number of businesses that may receive service-based grant offering, but availability is first come, first served depending on application review & approval. 
  • The application period for these grants will remain open until June 30, 2020, or until wisnet has exhausted capacity to accept additional applications.
  • The grant will typically cover the creation of a basic e-commerce website, branding elements, initial product/menu entry, training, and hosting through 2020.
