Construction Near Data Center

Beginning Thursday June 25, 2009, heavy duty excavation work on the property adjacent to Rackspace's IAD Data Center will commence. This project includes excavation work and quarrying of subsurface rock to lay a sewer line to serve a new development. This construction is not being performed by Rackspace or on Rackspace's behalf, and while we do not expect interruption of any services, any such construction project has the potential to become disruptive, and as a result we believe that it is appropriate to inform you of this information. We have been informed that the majority of this work will be performed during the hours of 12:00PM ET and 6:00PM ET and will last for approximately one to two weeks. Rackspace will be increasing its staffing during these hours, and we have engaged a consultant to assist us in monitoring this construction activity.
