- Posted on October 6, 2009
The Fond du Lac Public Library is one of twelve recipients of a Smart investing@your libraryŽ grant from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation and the American Library Association (ALA). The library will use the $52,525 grant to bring financial assurance and confidence to the nearly 50% of the local workforce who will reach retirement age in the next 10 years and to introduce solid, unbiased lifelong financial planning to new and replacement workers in our community.
This virtual "Money Smart Neighborhood" was created as part of a Smart investing@your libraryŽ grant from the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. The Fond du Lac Public Library partnered with a local web design firm, wisnet.com, LLC to create an attractive and fun interface to financial resources.
